International Marriage Broker Regulation Act

Unfortunately, The International Marriage Broker Regulation Act (IMBRA) was enacted into law last year, despite the opposition of IADW and other fair-minded organizations that believe that scapegoating international dating services accomplishes no good. The law takes effect on March 6, 2006.

Citizens Against Dating Discrimination (CADD) is leading a movement to repeal this law. More details available at www.online-dating-rights.com.

PRESS RELEASE

INTERNET TAX MORATORIUM

The International Association of Dating Websites supports S52, The Internet Tax Discrimination Act.  This bill will make the Internet tax moratorium permanent.  All dating websites have a strong interest in seeing that this bill is passed.  Taxes on the Internet would slow down e-commerce and inhibit economic growth worldwide.

Dating websites are urged to contact U.S. Senators to urge support of S52.
